Prices

The trip fee for service calls and the prices for maintenance and inspections can be found on the pages that describe those services (also linked on the right).

New equipment installations vary tremendously by job. The tiniest and cheapest of air conditioners (outdoor portion only) might run around $2,500. A medium sized mid-level furnace, air conditioner and cooling coil might run $7,500. A higher end system complete with new ducts can cost $15,000. Shocked? I don't blame you. That's a lot of money. However, in this trade the difference between done right and just done is night and day. If one guy is thousands less than another then it's prudent to figure out why rather than assume the high priced contractor is out to get you. Quite often it's the other way around.

Unlike a lot of companies, I'm quite willing to talk turkey about prices over the phone. That doesn't mean I'm low priced. That just means that I'm happy to weed out the price shoppers on the phone.  J  Ironically or perhaps not so, it's the price shoppers that are the ones most often taken advantage of. Companies that offer low service call fees and then supposedly waive those fees are the most expensive of all. Their supposed sales are more marketing than real. Hiring a real tradesman who knows what he's doing is always going to be the most cost effective option. I do virtually no advertising because my established customer base knows I'm that tradesman and is willing to pay what I ask.
