Fuse Locations ![]() Both the picture above and picture below show a fused switch that contains the furnace's fuse.
The picture above on the left is a close up of what's shown in the top two pictures. A lot of furnaces have instead a fused outlet as shown above on the right. Both contain the same kind of fuse.
Above is a package unit. The fuse box is attached directly to it. This also happens to be an excellent example of what not to do with your gas flex connector. Below is a common residential air conditioner's fuse box.
Another old air conditioner fuse box is shown above. A plastic version is below. (As an aside, notice how close the air conditioner below is to the wall. That's the side where the access panel is! Always worry about your contractor more than the brand.)
